How it works

From a blank survey to data you can defend.

Four steps, one record. Each step is designed for a phone in the field and a researcher who needs to know what happened.

  1. 01 / Build

    Write the survey

Choose from eight question types, mark required fields, set limits and preview the form respondents will see.

  2. 02 / Fund

    Publish with escrow

Hold the budget in escrow, lock the live version and share a private link or open enumerator jobs.

  3. 03 / Collect

    Work the field

Verified enumerators record consent, enter answers on a phone and can attach a GPS reading to each response.

  4. 04 / Release

    Review and pay

Approve or reject each response with a reason. Approved work releases the reward, and the data is ready to export.

Two sides of the field

One platform. Two clear jobs.

Researchers need evidence. Enumerators need work that pays for approved effort. Both get a record they can check.

For researchers

Design the study. Keep control of the field.

  • Version-locked surveys, so a live study cannot change under you.
  • A review queue with approve, reject and a reason for each response.
  • Escrow refunds for unspent budget when the survey closes.
  • Clean exports in CSV and XLSX, with question labels and choice codes.
Create a researcher account

For enumerators

Find fieldwork that respects your time.

  • Browse jobs by region, language and pay per response.
  • Complete your profile and code of conduct once.
  • A Tier 2 identity check unlocks paid work.
  • See assignments, submissions and expected earnings in one dashboard.
Create an enumerator account

Built into the money flow

Every payment follows the evidence.

Researchers fund escrow before publishing. Approvals release rewards. Refunds return what is left. Both sides of every movement are written to a double-entry ledger, so the numbers reconcile.

  1. 01 / Fund Escrow Card or MTN MoMo before the survey goes live.
  2. 02 / Review Approval Every response is checked and given a reason.
  3. 03 / Release Payout or refund Approved work is paid. Unspent budget goes back.

Questions

Before you start.

The short answers to the things researchers and enumerators ask first.

Do respondents need an account?

No. Enumerators record consent and enter answers on the respondent's behalf. Respondents never create a profile.

How are enumerators checked?

Email verification, a complete profile, acceptance of the code of conduct, and an admin-reviewed ID check before paid work.

When does an enumerator get paid?

When a response is approved, or automatically after the review window if no decision is made. Unspent escrow is refunded to the researcher when the survey closes.

What happens to sensitive surveys?

Categories that need ethics clearance cannot be published until an admin approves the uploaded certificate.

Can I export the data?

Yes. CSV and XLSX exports include question labels, data names and choice codes, so the file is readable and analysis-ready.
